Why Apex
A Category That Didn’t Exist.

Every fire rated glass system on the market, including the one behind our own Iberi Series, was built as a commercial product: spec’d by architects and glaziers for offices, hospitals, and storefronts. Nobody built it for a home. I spent years pushing that same technology into the residential market, starting in Miami and now reaching clients nationwide, and this year, turned it into the Iberi Signature Series, to prove a code required door can also be a design statement.

01
Invisible engineering, uncompromised safety.

Interior designers shouldn’t have to trade a minimalist aesthetic for a fire rating. Iberi’s framing is engineered to disappear into high end architecture, not read as a retrofitted commercial door, while still meeting residential fire codes.

02
Certified from day one.

We don’t deal in promises, we deal in documentation. Every system carries active UL 10B, UL 10C, and NFPA 252 certification, in hand before your inspector ever sets foot on the property.

03
You deal directly with me.

When you commission a system at this level, you don’t get passed to a call center or a subcontracted go-between. You deal directly with me, from first call to final specification.

Whoa. What a view.
Continuum, Miami Beach

The first three seconds inside an entry door decide how a space is experienced. A standard solid door buries the light and isolates the ocean behind cold steel or wood. Ours opens onto the ocean the moment the elevator does, so you’re not walking guests to the view, they’re already standing in it.

Your home can get that same reaction. Let’s build the door that earns it.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a fire rated door, and do I need one for my property?

A fire rated door is tested and labeled to contain fire and smoke for a specific duration, typically 20 to 90 minutes. Florida building code requires them in stairwells, corridors, mechanical rooms, and other locations in commercial buildings and multifamily properties. Apex Fire Doors can review your project and confirm exactly where a rating is required.

Which areas do you serve?

We supply and support hollow metal, solid core wood, and fire rated glass door systems across Miami-Dade, Broward, and the rest of South Florida, with nationwide supply available for select luxury glass door projects.

Are your doors code-compliant for Miami-Dade and Broward?

Yes. Every door assembly we supply is UL-rated and installed to meet Florida Building Code and local AHJ requirements, including Miami-Dade NOA where applicable.

Do you work on both residential and commercial projects?

Yes. We supply luxury residential fire rated doors for single-family and multifamily homes, as well as hollow metal and glass systems for commercial buildings, condos, and mixed-use properties.

How do I get started?

Request a private consultation through our contact page. We’ll review your project scope, fire rating requirements, and timeline, then recommend the right door assembly.
