T Flame and KeraLite Glass

T Flame fire resistive glass, rated 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes, is the glazing used across the SteelFire and AluFire systems. KeraLite T fire protective glass is also available for openings that do not require radiant heat protection.

Certifications

Both systems are UL listed to UL 10C and UL 10B, tested to NFPA 252, meet ANSI Z97.1 glazing safety requirements, are Intertek Listed and Labeled, and are hose stream tested.

Interior and Exterior Use

These fire rated glass systems are approved for interior use in Florida and in any other state or jurisdiction that requires hurricane or impact approval for exterior openings. This applies in particular to 120 minute fixed wall, butt joint, and curtain wall assemblies, which are not currently impact rated for exterior openings in South Florida. Exterior use is available in states and jurisdictions where local code allows it.

Exact configuration, glazing, and hardware are specified per project. Contact Apex Fire Doors to discuss your opening sizes and fire rating requirements.
